Legend of the Dogwood Tree
As legend has it, the cross on which Jesus was crucified was made from a dogwood tree.
God decreed that the dogwood tree would from that day forth never grow large enough to be used to make a cross.
Thus, the dogwood tree is a small tree.
The flower of the dogwood has four petals which makes the shape of a cross.
The center of the flower resembles the crown of thorns with bright red,
clustered fruit in the center representing the blood of Christ
. The dogwood blooms in April when Easter Sunday marks the resurrection of Christ after the Crucifixion

 Story of the Pine Tree Cross
Last April on a Sunday we took one of our "nowhere" drives, my husband
was quietly driving a back road. I was occupied in the front passenger
seat watching the scenery.
I noticed out of the corner of my eye that my husband was straining to
look out my window. This startled me, since his eyes should be on the
road in front of him. I asked him what he was looking at out the
windows, and he quietly replied, "Nothing." His eyes went back to the
road in front of him.
After a few minutes, I looked over at my husband and noticed a tear
running down his cheek. I asked him what was wrong. This time he told
me, "I was just thinking about Pop and a story he had once told me." Of
course, because it had to do with his Pop I wanted to know the story, so
I asked him to share it with me
.
He said, "When I was about 8 years old, Pop and I were out fishing and
that's when he told me that the Pine trees know when it is Easter."
I had no idea what he meant by that, so I pressed him for more
information.
He continued on... "The Pine trees start their new growth in the weeks
before Easter -- if you look at the tops of the Pine trees two weeks
before, you will see the yellow shoots. As the days get closer to Easter
Sunday, the tallest shoot will branch off and form a cross. By the time
Easter Sunday comes around, you will see that most of the Pine trees
will have small yellow crosses on all of the tallest shoots."
I turned to look out the window and I couldn't believe my eyes. It was
a week before Easter, and you could see all of the trees with the tall
yellow shoots stretching to Heaven.
The tallest ones shone in the sunlight like rows of tiny golden crosses.

First Prayer Taught to the The Little Shepherd Children of Fatima
My God, I believe I adore, I hope, and I love you You! I beg pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and who do not love You. The apparition ( Angel of Portugal ) asked them to pray this prayer three times 2nd Prayer
"O my Jesus! Forgive us, save us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need."
This prayer to Christ Our Savior was taught by Our Heavenly Mother herself to the children at Fatima, i.e., Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco (cf. Fatima in Lucia's Own Words,3rd Prayer
Prayer to the Most Holy Trinity
"Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference with which He Himself is offended. And, through the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of poor sinners."
This prayer was taught by an Angel named the Angel of Peace to the children at Fatima. The Angel knelt down beside them and made them repeat three times as quoted above, both before and after he/she gave the Sacred Host and Precious Blood of Christ to them. The Angel said, "Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful people! Make reparation for their crimes and console your God
Something to think about
What if God decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we didn't follow Him today?
What if God couldn't take the time to bless us today because we couldn't take the time to thank Him yesterday?
What if we never saw another flower bloom because we grumbled when God sent the Rain?
What if God didn't walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as His day?
What if, God took away the Bible tomorrow because we would not read it today?
What if, God took away His message because we failed to listen to the messenger?
THINK ABOUT THIS ONE
What if, God didn't send His only begotten Son because He wanted us to be prepared to pay the price for sin?
What if, the door of the church was closed because we did not open the door of our heart?
What if, God stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for others?
What if, God would not hear us today because we would not listen to Him?
What if, God answered our prayers the way we answer His call to service?
What if, God met our needs the way we give Him our lives???

What Do I Do Now?

1. Celebrate your new life!
As a believer, you've got the greatest thing worth celebrating, a new life in Christ!
2. Get connected with other believers.
Tell another CHRISTIAN about your decision, that way you can share your EXCITEMENT and they can begin PRAYING for you.
Get baptized if you haven't done so already. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward commitment to Christ. There's no reason to delay: as soon as you believe, you're READY.
Take inventory of your current relationships: are the people you are connected to helping or hindering your faith?
3. Commit to growing in your new faith.
Make it a habit to spend time with God so you can get to know him better.
4. Begin thinking of ways you can help others
At the center of what it means to be a Christian is servanthood. There's no better time than now to start helping other people.
5 Begin thinking of how you can share the truth about Jesus with your non-believing friends
Accepting Christ has changed your life, and it can change the lives of your non-believing friends. YOU DON"T HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS to talk about Jesus. All you have to share is the life change you've experienced.
